ya know i new thread or not would be the changes in the culture of smoking pot..kids have all these new fangled gizmos and rolling concepts. they look at me stupid when i try and tell them about roach clips, rolling papers w/ a metal strip in them to make a clip...kids these daze cant even roll, tho i was never good at it either...and hookah pipes, corncob pipes. plumbling parts from dad's collection pipes, ceramic,, uncle sam and double chamber bongs, and how bout power hiters and torpedos (for plane trips????)
W/ the advent of pyrex type glass and artistic ideas there went the wood, metal and plastic. ok, i just need negated the thread idea..
and someone mentioned shotgun??? i remember the first time i tried to do that w/ someone way younger..they were like WTF?.....
and watchdog..you are right when stoned, bring on the chocolate chip pizza.....

Fri, January 30, 2009 - 8:03 PMAh yes, the great powerhitters. I still have mine packed away somewhere, and old one with a metal stem and OatWilly on the sticker. Haven't been able to partake the past several years due to the infamous "random" pee tests, but I miss the days when I would buy an oz a week and run out before my next payday. Wonderful way to familiarize yourself with a city, driving around at lunch getting stoned. The rest of the day would fly by. Of course, with the potency of today's herb, I probably couldn't get away with it, or afford it. Took a chance not too long ago at a friend's place and took a couple of hits from her pipe. Man, I had to go lay down for awhile. From total stoner to featherweight in ten short years. Whoda thunk it. Still, I am looking forward to retirement!

Sun, July 5, 2009 - 8:59 PMWell Ray, I stopped smoking pot when my daughter's were born and did not start back until a few years ago. I was with my husband and friends and we were on a sailboat in the middle of the friggin' Caribbean surrounded by those little island you see in cartoons. The ones that are so tiny they have like one palm tree in the middle, nothing else around us. It was a gorgeous night. Star filled sky, balmy breezes. One of our friends talked me into smoking with her and I took two hits. It was very nice, but then while we were sitting there, I thought to myself, "Wow, I feel really high..." and then I passed out on the rigging. Scared the shite out of all of us, myself included. So yeah, I guess it has changed a lot.
But since then, once in a while I will take a hit or two and nothing like that has happened again. But a hit or two is all that I need now.

And the time I had a huge backyard garden, and grew two pot plants outside, surrounded by lush growth of vines, other tall plants....
No one ever noticed.
I thought.
Until I came home from work one day and the plants, which had been over 5' tall, were cut down at the base. Gone.
Wasn't Narcs. Or I would have been confronted.
To this day, still wonder who got high from my garden, and if the stuff was any good................. -

Found a couple of shots of good friends that I didn't think I had shots of, good ones too. Pink Floyd concert was in there too (Right after Dark Side... was released) Also in the batch was a shot of a lovely marijuana plant in a window.
Attention, narcs. Disregard this message. I don't smoke it now. The Oreo Cookie bills and the cost for new bigger pants made it not worth it. Now I get off on caffeine. Damn. Wish I could still eat like that and look lean and sexy in those hip-huggin' bells. -
