I just love the television shows from the the 60s...From Shindig to the Mod Squad and everything in between. What was your favorite show and which character from that show would you like to come back as in your next life?

    I might want to be Opie forever. Endless summer, no problem that can't be solved in 30 minutes, supportive family, none of the complications of puberty. Otherwise, maybe Mr. Wizard :) He always got to do cool stuff and there was a lot of gee-whiz going on.

      MR. WIZARD????? I LOVED Mr. Wizard. For years after we were older and it was gone, we'd still say "Gee, Mr. Wizard" in a retro joke. You know, I'll go blank on a good friend's name during an introduction these days, but I still remember that Mr. Wizard was Don Herbert. (Hell! My whole life feels like a science project, so why wouldn't I remember him?)

    Extremely difficult choice.
    SOOO many great shows and movies out
    at that time, hard to pick just one.
    Such a different thing now. So few good shows.

        I want to be Samantha Steven's dark haired, wild sister. But I forget her name. She was always doing fun stuff. I loved how all of the witches were always in exotic locations when Samantha called them. Like Dr. Bombay! "Calling Dr. Bombay, calling Dr. Bombay!" And then he would appear in a Safari outfit or a toga or something. Samantha's sister always did that too.

          What about Twiggy? I wanted to be her so badly when she was so famous. And Jean Shrimpton? I think that was her name. Yeah, a Yardley model for lip-gloss. Slicker. Does anyone remember the jingle for Slicker lip-gloss?

            I don't remember the jingle, but I have three tubes of Slicker that I purchased on eBay. The minute I opened them I could smell that unique Slicker scent.

            How did the jingle go?

              i don't think that our time is linear... so that opens up the possibility of coming back in the sixties...

              you could come back then, but i would really like to bring the vibration of the sixties here and now

                I;ve been watching for her every time a cat comes into my life since she died in San Francisco in January 1988...nothing yet.

                  Haha! Keep watching for her Judith! I think that my dad came back as my dog named Marley. We got him for my mom when she came to live with us. Marley would just ignore my mom. It really pissed her off. But he loves all other females! Just like my dad! A fickle boy! Once in a while, I will look at Marley very intently and ask, "Dad?"

                  We got another puppy in December, a little girl Chihuahua and we named her Sophie. Mom has been gone for four years now and I am almost positive that it is my mom! Teehee! She bosses Marley around all the time now and he takes it! It is from all of those years of being so awful to my mom and now payback is a bitch! LOL!

                  The Slicker Jingle~ I think that it went, "Slicker Under, Slicker Over, Slicker Alone..." I can remember it's smell too.
